How Our Window Tint Solves UV Issues
The Tysons Commute Has a UV Problem
Tysons commuters who drive east toward DC in the morning and west in the evening are facing direct sun exposure twice a day, every day. Over years, that exposure fades leather, cracks dashboards, and degrades every premium interior material your vehicle came with. Our Ceramic IR film at 98% infrared rejection and 99% UV blocking stops that process from the day it's installed, protecting everything inside your vehicle passively, every mile.
The installation behind those benefits is executed to the same standard we apply to every service. We deep-clean every window surface, precision-cut the film to your vehicle's specifications, heat-shrink it to conform to every glass curve, and squeegee out every trace of air and moisture before the film bonds. The result looks factory-applied because the process was performed at a factory level of care.

Backed by a Lifetime Warranty and a Decade of Recognition
Every tint installation at All American Paint Protection comes with a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, and fading. For Tysons drivers who expect quality, our award-winning team delivers it and guarantees it on every vehicle we work on.
That guarantee is backed by ten consecutive Xpel Dealer of the Year awards and the 2025 US Market Leadership title; credentials built on the same installation process applied to every Tysons vehicle that comes through our shop. Deep-cleaned glass, precision-cut film, heat-shrunk to every curve, squeegeed to a bubble-free bond, and reviewed before the keys are returned. That's not a description of our best work. It's a description of our standard work, applied without variation to every installation we perform.
We're owner-operated, which means the person responsible for earning and maintaining that track record is personally invested in your result. There's no delegation of accountability in our shop. When your car is here, the owner is involved, the standard is non-negotiable, and the lifetime warranty behind your installation has the full weight of that personal commitment behind it. For Tysons drivers who expect that level of seriousness from the people they trust with their vehicles, we deliver it every time.

Window tinting reduces that glare significantly, making high-speed driving on the highway routes more comfortable, improving overall visibility during low-sun conditions, and reducing the eye strain that builds up over long commutes. For Tysons drivers who log significant weekly mileage on these corridors, the safety and comfort improvement is consistent and cumulative.
A Finished Look That Elevates Any Vehicle

Lifetime Warranty That Covers the Full Ownership Period
Our window tint installations are backed by a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, and fading. That warranty isn't a limited promotional offer. It reflects the confidence we have in the film we install and the process we use to apply it, and it's backed by the same team that has earned ten consecutive national awards for this work.
FAQ’s About Car Window Tint
1. Is window tinting legal in Virginia?
Virginia law allows front side windows to be tinted at 50% VLT or higher, while rear side windows and the rear window can be any darkness. That flexibility gives Tysons drivers real options, particularly on the rear windows, where maximum darkness provides the most heat rejection and privacy. We ensure every install is fully compliant with Virginia's tinting regulations, and we'll walk you through the options that make the most sense for your vehicle and your priorities before we start.
2. What is the estimated length of install?
Most full-vehicle installations take approximately 3 to 4 hours. That covers every step, cleaning the glass, cutting the film, heat-shrinking it to the window curves, and squeegeeing out every trace of air and moisture before the bond sets. We recommend dropping your car off for the day so the process isn't rushed and the film can begin its initial cure properly before you leave. Rushing the installation is how you end up with a result that looks fine in the shop and starts to show problems within a year.
3. When can I use my windows normally?
Wait a minimum of 3 to 5 days after installation before lowering your windows. During that curing period, the adhesive is still bonding to the glass. Rolling a window down before the bond is complete can shift or peel the film away from the edge. Cooler temperatures slow the cure slightly, so in fall or winter conditions, the full 5 days is the right call. Once cured, your windows function exactly as normal.
4. Will window tint prevent the window from breaking?
Our film is engineered to hold glass together on impact. While it does not prevent it from breaking, instead the window tint will prevent the window from shattering into dangerous fragments. If impact occures, the glass is held in place by the film, significantly reducing the risk of injury to occupants.
