The Cost of the best

THe All american paint protection difference

We are the most decorated PPF installer in the DMV area, with ten consecutive years as XPEL Dealer of the Year and recognition as the 2025 United States XPEL Market Leadership Dealer of the Year. Our master-certified installers use premium XPEL film and deliver a custom install, not a pre-cut kit. That includes hand wrapping, hand trimming, heat sealing edges, disassembly where needed for a seamless install, and thorough decontamination and prep. Proper film tension management is used to ensure the install doesn’t rely on the adhesive, and every care is taken to create a blemish-free, defect-free finish. We operate at a standard most shops can’t match, and we regularly see customers who went elsewhere come to us to fix the result. The custom install we deliver the first time is always less expensive than a redo.

When you choose All American Paint Protection, you're not paying for a sticker on your car. You're paying for protection that lasts, backed by a decade of mastery, an extremely clean installation environment, master-certified technicians who treat every edge like it's going on their own vehicle, and a finished result that holds up years down the road the way a kit install never will. Our team also has an insane eye for detail that helps to ensure the highest quality install. We don't deliver anything other than exceptional results, and we hate cutting corners to reduce cost. We always deliver a high standard, and that standard is why customers drive from across the DMV to have us do the job right the first time.

A Custom Install

Why Choose All American Paint Protection?

Not all PPF installs are equal, and the difference becomes very clear over time. Some shops use software-cut kit installs that are laid on top of the vehicle with exposed edges. Those exposed edges accumulate dirt, grime, and debris.  On bright colors, whites, and blacks, those border lines become increasingly visible the longer the film is on the car.

At All American Paint Protection, we don’t do kit installs. Every edge is hand-wrapped, heat-formed, and sealed down. We disassemble door handles, mirrors, and badges to tuck the film deep into crevices, so when you look at the car, you don’t see film. We also use the proper amount of film tension, so the installation relies on correct physics and technique rather than depending solely on the adhesive. This helps the film lay properly, stay secure, and last over time. This is a custom install, performed by master-certified Xpel technicians who have been doing this for over a decade. It takes longer, requires expertise, and is unquestionably the better result.

Before we ever pick up a piece of film, our team spends hours prepping the vehicle. We clean every crevice, panel gap, and surface with the kind of thoroughness you'd expect from a near-clean-room environment. That prep work is how you get zero dust and zero particulate matter under your film. Other shops skip it. We don't.

Understanding the Advantages

The Benefits of Paint Protection Film

Rock Chip Resistance

The film absorbs the impact of rocks and road debris, stopping chips before they reach your paint. On DMV highways and interstates, this protection is not optional; it's essential.

Self-Healing Technology

The top layer of Xpel film reacts to heat from sunlight or warm water, causing minor scratches and swirl marks to disappear on their own. It's not magic, it's thermoplastic urethane engineering.

Invisible Protection

When installed correctly and hand-wrapped by a master-certified technician, you won't see it. You'll just see perfect paint.

Advanced Technology for Lasting Protection

Understanding the Self-Healing Properties of Paint Protection Film

XPEL paint protection film (PPF) is a revolutionary product that safeguards your vehicle's exterior while offering self-healing capabilities. This advanced film features a specialized thermoplastic urethane layer that helps repair minor scratches and swirl marks on its surface. When exposed to heat, whether from the sun or a warm water application, these imperfections naturally disappear, restoring the film’s smooth, clear finish.

The self-healing properties of PPF not only enhance your car's visual appeal but also ensure greater longevity for its exterior. By protecting against common wear and tear, such as minor abrasions and insect stains, PPF acts as an invisible shield, preserving the original paintwork beneath. This makes it a favored solution among car enthusiasts and luxury vehicle owners who demand premium protection without sacrificing aesthetics.

Avoid Rock Chips and Protect Your Investment

Beyond its restorative abilities, XPEL PPF also provides exceptional resistance to UV rays and environmental contaminants. This helps prevent fading, discoloration, and damage caused by prolonged exposure to the elements. We have even seen PPF help protect paint during very minor impacts and light collisions, adding another layer of defense for your vehicle’s finish. For car owners who value their vehicle’s appearance and want to maintain its showroom-quality finish, PPF's self-healing properties offer both peace of mind and lasting satisfaction.

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers

Paint Protection Film FAQs

  • 1. How long does PPF last?

High-quality XPEL PPF typically lasts 10 years, depending on how the vehicle is stored and maintained. It's a long-term investment in your car's finish and resale value.

  • 2. Does PPF affect the appearance of my car?

When installed correctly, no, it should be completely invisible. The keyword is "correctly." With a kit install, where the film is cut by software and laid on top of the vehicle, you will often see exposed edges. Over time, those edges collect dirt and debris, and on lighter or darker colors, that border line becomes increasingly noticeable. Our custom hand-wrapped installs eliminate exposed edges entirely, tucking the film into crevices so there's nothing to collect dirt and nothing to see.

  • 3. Can I wash my car normally?

Hand washing is recommended after having PPF installed. We advise avoiding automatic car washes with brushes and use some care with high-pressure washers near film edges. To reduce stress, trust All American Paint Protection to maintain your vehicle.

  • 4. Can PPF be removed?

Yes, it can be removed; however, it is recommended that it be removed by an expert. In the hands of a trained professional, Xpel PPF can be removed cleanly without damaging the factory paint underneath. However, if someone less experienced attempts removal, they risk lifting and damaging the paint. Particularly if the vehicle has ever been repainted. If you're ever considering PPF removal, call us first. We'll assess the vehicle and give you an honest answer on what to expect.

  • 5. How do I care for my Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

To keep your PPF looking its best, we recommend hand washing your vehicle regularly using pH-neutral soap and microfiber towels. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive brushes, and automatic car washes when possible. Proper care will help maintain the film’s clarity, gloss, and long-term protection.
